Professional Development Workshops & Events
Once per month, beginning February 28th, members are invited to a PD Lunch n' Learn workshop. Topics range from branding, website messaging, AI's future in the service industry, financial planning etc.
Once per quarter, PBA will host a large-scale event such as Tech Week April 7-11th 2025
Tickets are $65/workshop or included with the Growth membership
Consortium purchasing
Retail can be a fantastic revenue stream for studio owners if done properly. A studio is a unique setting and needs unique purchasing and merchandising strategies to be successful.
As a member, your studio will benefit from larger purchasing power along with professionally sourced products and a sales strategy.
Industry Wide Studio Events
In-studio events are a lot of work to organize and promote. But members have the opportunity to participate in PBA industry events and receive swag, marketing materials, themes, and promotion.
The PBA will provide marketing and promotional materials, including event sponsors where possible, and social media attention to help make all of our events bigger and more impactful.
Preferred Status as an EYT Host
As a member, your studio is guaranteed one in-person seminar during the Reformer & Mat training semester with enrollment of 4 or more students.
An in-person seminar means an EYT Master Teacher will come to your studio to deliver a 5-7 hour seminar in your studio for apprentices. It is recommended that the host utilize this opportunity to have photographer and/or offer a "guest teacher" class to clients as a special event.
Newsletter Content
Writing content with value can be a tremendous burden and time suck for busy studio owners. Our writing staff has an archive of relevant and sourced articles that pertain to your studio audience and can be used in your monthly newsletters. Topics such as habit changing, infrared saunas, benefits of red-light therapy, how pilates reduces pain --- are in the archive for your use to bring value and high quality content to your clients.
PBA Conference Fall 2025
The PBA will be hosting the first ever Business Conference for Pilates & Yoga studio owners in NYC Fall of 2025.
Industry coaches and professionals will lead meetings and working sessions to improve our business acumen, systems and growth strategies.
